Let’s get straight to the biggest shocker:

• Xaden and Violet. Married. No memory. His disappearance.

• The devastation left in its wake—what’s next for them?

I knew it would get worse before it got better, but knowing this series is planned as a five-book saga, I can only imagine how much more is coming.

Dragons, Bond Breaks & New Powers

We had some major character moments:

• Sawyer getting back on his dragon (yes, finally!). His fight with his dragon was hilarious and heartwarming.

• Imogen’s POV gave us a deeper look into other riders. And Quinn’s sacrifice? 💔

• Violet’s second signet – dream-walking. That damn sorcerer manipulating Xaden’s dreams? YIKES.

Andarna breaking their bond? I felt that moment. Violet’s pain. Mira pulling her out of it. But it also unraveled a mess of secrets—Mira keeping things from Violet, their father’s initiating Violet’s partial dedication to Dunne… drama for days.

Final Battle & Xaden’s Ultimate Choice

That last fight? Violet using every skill she had to survive. But Xaden’s decision? If his dragon or Violet died, what did he have left? I get why he pulled that power.

This book digs deep into grief, loss, and resilience. The emotions hit HARD. Love it or hate it, Onyx Storm delivers high-stakes fantasy with unforgettable characters.
