Review: Logan’s Acadian Wolves
Logan's Acadian Wolves by Kym Grosso
An erotic paranormal romance…
Deep in the heart of New Orleans, Acadian Wolves' Alpha, Logan Reynaud, rescues a beautiful woman in the dead of night. Intrigued by the mysterious human, the commanding Alpha is determined to elicit all of her secrets, including her deepest fantasies. After tragedy strikes, Logan discovers dangerous adversaries are planning an attack in his city. Driven by responsibility and honor, Logan must protect both his pack and the woman who's captivated his attention.
Dr. Wynter Ryan, a leading virologist, is fascinated with her charismatic protector. As the chemistry ignites between her and the dominant Alpha, she relinquishes her ties to the past, embracing ecstasy and submission within his arms and intrepidly acquiescing to her own adventurous instincts. Succumbing to desire, she learns to trust her Alpha, discovering what it means to be wolf.
Passion and mystery on the bayou stirs Logan's wolf, demanding he claim his mate. Yet Wynter's a distraction he can't afford when his priority is to lead his new pack. Will Logan surrender to the uncontrollable need to claim Wynter as his mate? And will he be able to keep her alive, finding the killer who threatens the Acadian Wolves?
Warning: This book contains several erotic love scenes, including m/f/m menage, and is intended for adult readers only.
Kym Grosso has done it again and WOW! is all I can say! This is book is such a powerful installment in Immortals of New Orleans series that I read it in one setting. Logan may have been a reluctant Alpha at the beginning but the gusto with which he embraces his responsibility makes him a man anyone would be compelled to follow. It doesn't hurt that he is sinfully handsome and sexy as hell to boot.
Wynter is an incredibly brilliant scientist that has just escaped from a two month captivity. On the run, she literally collides with Logan on the streets of New Orleans while being pursued by the vampires that had had been her captives. She continues to run only to find herself seeking refuge beside Logan's pool. Her inner strength and need to find the truth are just a few of the qualities that make her an amazing character.
The attraction between Logan and Wynter is immediate and explosive. Their adventure is filled with so much mystery and intrigue I was unable to tear myself away from the pages. Ms. Grosso does an amazing job of weaving a story line that keeps you captivated with a non-stop thrill ride unsure where the next curve will come from. I was on the edge of my seat just praying someone would catch the villains and give them the justice they so richly deserved. If all of this was not enough to have you breathing heavy and looking for a glass of water, Ms. Grosso writes some of the steamiest love scenes I have ever read. Logan and Wynter will make your kindle smoke and your heart race.
If you have not read the Immortals of New Orleans series you are seriously missing out! I definitely recommend the whole series but if you have to pick just one, DO NOT miss Logan's Acadian Wolves!
